St. Louis Organizations Receive More Than $330,000 For Technology from Gateway to Innovation
G2I Technology Conference All-time Giveback Exceeds $2 Million
St. Louis, MO – September 9, 2019 - Gateway to Innovation (G2I) capped off $330,016 in 2019 St. Louis community giveback by presenting contributions to 23 organizations during a special event hosted at T-REX, 911 Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis.
Each year G2I donates 100 percent of net proceeds from its increasingly popular annual conference, which was attended by 1,400 regional Information Technology (IT) professionals in downtown St. Louis in late April, to worthy organizations that demonstrate technology-related needs. Since the first conference in 2006, G2I community giveback totals $2,009,967.
“To all the volunteers, corporations and sponsors that continue to make this conference a success for our region, we thank you for your continued support,” said Eric Gorham, CIO at REJIS, and a G2I Executive Committee member.
G2I distributed the remainder of its 2019 community giveback initiative at Monday’s event. The organizations receiving contributions are:
